ΣΠΑΡΤΗ. Μια εξαιρετικά μεγάλη διάκριση για Έλληνα ελαιοπαραγωγό, με το απόλυτο ρεκόρ του 100% και έντεκα (11) βραβεύσεις σε ισάριθμες συμμετοχές σημειώθηκε στην Τυνησία για τους βιολογικούς ελαιώνες Σακελλαρόπουλου, στον διεθνή διαγωνισμό ελαιολάδων Carthage International Olive Oil Competition 2026.

Παράλληλα, οι έντεκα (11) διεθνείς αυτές βραβεύσεις στο διεθνή διαγωνισμό της Βόρειας Αφρικής, συμπληρώνουν έναν νέο αριθμό ρεκόρ. Τα 1.398 διεθνή βραβεία που έχουν συγκεντρώσει τα ελαιοπροϊόντα των ελαιώνων Σακελλαρόπουλου αποτελούν ένα παγκόσμιο ρεκόρ βραβεύσεων για Έλληνα ελαιοπαραγωγό Single Estate. Το γεγονός αυτό αποτυπώνει την δυναμική της Ελληνικής ελαιοκομίας, τοποθετώντας την Ελλάδα και την Σπάρτη Λακωνίας, στις πιο σημαντικές θέσεις του παγκόσμιου ελαιοκομικού χάρτη, αποτελώντας μεγάλη και ιδιαίτερη τιμή για τους ελαιώνες Σακελλαρόπουλου.

Πιο συγκεκριμένα, οι έντεκα (11) αυτές βραβεύσεις προέρχονται από την 3η έκδοση του διεθνή διαγωνισμού Carthage IOOC που πραγματοποιήθηκε στην ιστορική πόλη της αρχαίας Καρχηδόνας, την επονομαζόμενη και ως «Ρώμη της Αφρικής» στην Τυνησία, από 9 έως 11 Ιουνίου 2026. Ο συγκεκριμένος διεθνής διαγωνισμός εφαρμόζει αυστηρά standards αξιολόγησης, βασιζόμενος στις γευσιγνωστικές μεθόδους και τους κανόνες που ορίζει το Διεθνές Συμβούλιο Ελαιολάδου, αποκλειστικά με την μέθοδο της τυφλής γευσιγνωσίας (blind tasting) και συμπεριλαμβάνεται στην παγκόσμια κατάταξη ελαιολάδων EVOOWR.

Η γευσιγνωστική δοκιμή των ελαιολάδων στον Carthage IOOC 2026 πραγματοποιείται από κριτές και ειδικούς δοκιμαστές ελαιολάδου (experts, panel leaders και tasters) διεθνούς κύρους, προερχόμενους από διάφορες χώρες του κόσμου.

Για το 2026, συμμετείχαν εκατοντάδες ελαιόλαδα από πολλές ελαιοπαραγωγικές χώρες παγκοσμίως, με πολύ υψηλό επίπεδο ποιότητας και βαθμό δυσκολίας στο να διακριθούν.

Οι βιολογικοί ελαιώνες Σακελλαρόπουλου, τιμήθηκαν με το απόλυτο ποσοστό επιτυχίας του 100 %, με έντεκα (11) εξαιρετικά υψηλές βραβεύσεις σε ισάριθμες συμμετοχές ελαιολάδων τους. Συγκεκριμένα συγκέντρωσαν 4 Διπλά Χρυσά, 3 Χρυσά και 4 Ασημένια βραβεία, ενώ κατατάσσονται με ένα νέο ρεκόρ στους μοναδικούς ελαιοπαραγωγούς που έχουν καταφέρει το απόλυτο αριθμό βραβεύσεων 100%, στο διεθνή διαγωνισμό της Τυνησίας στη Βόρεια Αφρική.

An exceptional distinction for a Greek olive producer, with the absolute record of 100% and 11 awards in equal number of participations was noted in Tunisia for Sakellaropoulos Organic Farms, in the international olive oil competition Carthage International Olive Oil Competition 2026.

Additionally, these 11 international awards at the North African international competition complete a new record number. The olive products of Sakellaropoulos Organic Farms have acquired 1.398 international awards, constituting a global record of awards for a Greek Single Estate olive producer. This reflects the dynamic of Greek olive growing, placing Greece and Sparta Laconia in the most prominent places on the global olive growing map, while constituting a great and special honor for Sakellaropoulos Organic Farms.

More specifically, these eleven (11) awards come from the 3rd edition of the Carthage IOOC international competition held in the historic city of Carthage, known as Tunisian’s "Rome of Africa", from 9 – 11 June 2026. This international competition applies strict evaluation standards, based on tasting methods defined by the International Olive Council, exclusively with the method of blind tasting, while it is included in the EVOOWR global olive oil ranking.

The tasting of olive oils at Carthage IOOC 2026 is carried out by expert olive oil tasters of international prestige (experts, panel leaders and tasters), coming from different countries of the world.

For 2026, hundreds of olive oils from many olive-producing countries participated with a very high level of quality and thus, high degree of difficulty in distinguishing them.

Sakellaropoulos Organic Farms were honored with the absolute success rate of 100% with 11 exceptionally high awards in an equal number of participations.
